Jack n' Jill Natural Toothpaste Review and Giveaway

Bunny is old enough to brush her teeth now. She has 10 teeth! And she's working on 2 more! Where did my baby go?!? Bunny accompanied me to the dentist at my last cleaning, when she was about 10 months old. The dentist said it was time to start "brushing" Bunny's teeth. The dentist said no fluoride toothpaste until Bunny is 2 years old. We started brushing Bunny's teeth with a wet tooth brush with no toothpaste. She was fine with that, until one day she grabbed our toothbrush and put it in her mouth. She discovered toothpaste! I was not very happy that she wanted to suck the toothpaste taste off our toothbrush. I imagined all the chemicals going into her tiny little body. After she tasted our toothbrush, she wanted nothing to do with her boring, plain old toothbrush. So began my search for baby safe, organic toothpaste suitable for my Bunny.

On my google search I can across Jack n' Jill toothpaste. Jack n' Jill toothpaste is certified organic AND has a "zero" safety rating on EWG's Skin Deep database (check it out). That is the safest rating possible! (I try to stay at or below "two" on the EWG's rating scale on all products.) The toothpaste is fluoride free, sugar free, color free, has no preservatives, and has organic flavoring. The packaging is BPA free and has recyclable packaging. It is made in Australia! I couldn't wait to get some for Bunny to try!

I received the raspberry flavor toothpaste, a compostable and biodegradable tooth brush, and a sleepover bag to pack them in. The packaging was minimal and eco friendly. (Yay!)

When it came time to brush our teeth that night, I was excited to see if Bunny liked her new toothpaste. We both tried her new toothpaste. All it takes is a little drop on the middle of the toothbrush. Bunny immediately took to the toothpaste. She did not whine for my toothbrush. We both happily brushed our teeth! Bunny liked the flavor and allowed me to brush her teeth, then had a turn at brushing her teeth. Win for mom! I thought the toothpaste tasted pretty good, it wasn't overly sweet, and it wasn't a strong flavor. It was a nice smooth, subtle flavor which is good! I don't want Bunny to think toothpaste is a snack or candy. I did notice when I brushed my teeth that the tooth brush squeaked against my teeth. Not a bad thing, just not something I am used to. Bunny did not seem to mind, however. After I was done brushing my teeth I was interested to see how my teeth felt. I was worried they wouldn't feel clean because this is a product for babies, toddlers and kids, AND it is organic. I am happy to say my teeth felt GREAT! My teeth felt as clean as when I used my adult toothpaste.

Bunny LOVES this toothpaste, and so do I! I like that I can let her "brush" her teeth (aka suck on the toothbrush) as long as she wants and not feel bad about the chemicals in the toothpaste. Bunny likes this toothpaste so much, she ends up brushing her teeth for at least 10 minutes! I like this toothpaste so much, I bought two more flavors! Banana and blueberry. They both taste great! The flavor is not too much, doesn't overwhelm you. It is just enough. I highly recommend this toothpaste. I can't wait to try the other flavors, blackcurrent, and strawberry.
